We only use measurement cookies, and only if you accept them. If you decline, the site works exactly the same. You can change your choice at any time: .
What cookies are
Small files a website stores in your browser to remember you or measure visits. The law (in Chile, Law 21,719; in Europe, the GDPR and the ePrivacy directive) requires asking for your consent before using any that are not strictly necessary. That is why we show a notice with two equally visible buttons: Accept and Decline.
What we use
| Name | From | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Count visits and see which pages are used, in aggregate. Only with your consent. | Up to 2 years |
mycomuapp-consent | This site (local storage, not a cookie) | Remember whether you accepted or declined, so we don’t ask again. | Until you delete it |
How we use Google Analytics
- Only with your permission: if you don’t accept, nothing from Google is loaded.
- Measurement only: no advertising, remarketing or ad signals, and we never link this data to your app account.
- Aggregate data: pages viewed, approximate country, device type and clicks on buttons such as “Download”. Google Analytics 4 does not store your full IP address.
- The provider is Google, which may process this data outside Chile. More in Google’s privacy policy.
What we don’t use
- No advertising and no social media pixels.
- Fonts, images and video are served from our own server.
- The Facebook, Instagram and YouTube icons are just links: they load nothing from those platforms until you click.
- Your language is in the address (
/or/en/), not in a cookie.
How to withdraw your consent
Use (also in every page footer) and choose Decline: we stop measuring and delete the Google Analytics cookies. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
The web version of the app
When you sign in to the web version, your browser keeps in its local storage what is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (language, theme). It is not used for advertising or tracking; the session is cleared when you sign out.
